There will be very few alternative housing options besides staying at Hotel Seward; mid-summer is the 'high' season for tourism in Alaska, and most accommodations throughout the state are booked in advance. Seward is not a large city (pop. 2900) and is a popular destination for summer travellers; as result there will be very limited possibilities for lodging. There are several campgrounds in the area, all of which are at 100\% capacity during the summer. If you insist on planning to camp during the meeting, please contact the Organizing committee for other relevant information.
