The organizers of Last Frontiers in Quantum Information Science-2
intend it to be a small, focussed meeting bringing together leading
and up-and-coming researchers and research students in quantum information
theory. The aim is to present new results (or even new research directions
without results yet) with lots of time to discuss. The program will
consist of a limited number of invited talks with considerable time
for discussion. PhD students and postdocs are very welcome and encouraged
to participate.
The meeting will focus on selected topics from quantum information theory
and quantum computation. Confirmed speakers include:
- Robin Blume-Kohout (Sandia Labs, USA)
- Gavin Brennen (Macquarie University, Australia)
- Nick Menicucci (University of Sydney, Australia)
- Chris Granade (University of Waterloo, Canada)
- Peter Turner (University of Bristol, UK)
- Sarah Croke (University of Glasgow, UK)
- Ciara Morgan (Leibniz Universitat Hannover, Germany)
- Cedric Beny (Leibniz Universitat Hannover, Germany)
- Steven van Enk (University of Oregon, USA)
- CP Price (University of Alaska Fairbanks, USA)
- Thomas Edwards (University of Alaska Fairbanks, USA)
